MESSAGE TO PARENTS:

The next time you bring the kids to visit grandpa and grandma (who happens to have Parkinson's disease), don't let the kids play on their computer and set the router to have a password that nobody knows which means calling me for a visit at $95 an hour! THANK YOU!

Organizing

P25

On cold winter days when we woke to the sweet radio sound declaring "No School", my older sister and I would embark on an all day project figuring out a new way to organize our 10x10 bedroom. We enjoyed every minute of it and learned how to creatively stack boxes, double purpose hangers and hang all our stuffed animals from the walls and ceiling.

Can you think of ways to creatively stack your desktop folders or icons? Or perhaps just find ways to hang a stylus from your iPhone?

McStud

A young guy just sat down in Starbucks with a T-shirt on that says "McStud". I wonder if he's related to the "mcMuffin" across the street at McDonalds!

Rediscovering the Library

After giving up visiting the local library many years ago, I am now returning. Why? While Starbucks has been my home recently I have come to the conclusion it is not a place to get any real work done. The final straw today... 2 older women who had just finished their tennis match sat gossiping like 2 school girls about another woman they played tennis with. The noise level in Starbucks has risen too high for me to return. If you need me, I'll be at the library where it still is quiet AND they have Free Wi-Fi!

Real Social Networking

Our local chamber has struck upon how important social networking can be in today's business world. Instead of a monthly chamber mixer, they now have a "social networking" meeting where everyone still shows up in person.
