Google Grants for Non-Profits NOW AVAILABLE!

We are very excited to begin working with our non-profits on applying for the new Google Grants for Non-Profits. The grant will provide each non-profit recipient up to $10,000 worth of Google Adwords for promoting their cause. I can't think of 1 non-profit that couldn't use that type of FREE promotion on the internet right now.

Who is New Media ID?

Denise Welch is the President/CEO of Computerworks, Inc., a computer consulting company based in Palm Desert, CA. Denise started her business 18 years ago working with small businesses and people on an individual basis.

In 1996, Denise created the Desert Internet Group, a non-profit community group dedicated to helping people understand the Internet and its impact on our society. In 1997, Computerworks, Inc. hosted ICON 97, the 1st Community Technology Conference ever held in the Coachella Valley and repeated the conference in 1998.

In addition, Computerworks, Inc. along with Office Depot, hosted a Computer Consortium series of monthly seminars in 1999 on varying computer topics at a local Library. In 2002, Denise was asked to join the City of Palm Desert’s Technology Committee and served for 4 years. advising the city on Technology Matters.

In 2008, Denise started another company entitled New Media ID, a non-profit and small business social media marketing company that specializes in using Social Media Marketing techniques including e-Marketing, Google Adwords, Business Blogging, Social Media Communities, Podcasting and much more.
